The LVMH group has chosen the success of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon as the creative director of Kenzo. It would be Felipe Oliveira Baptista, the Portuguese designer for eight years at Lacoste’s creative leadership.

According to the English press, the choice would have already been made and Baptista, 44, originally from the Azores and passionate about architecture, beat the competition of Marine Serre and Martine Rose.

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are dismissed by Kenzo last Sunday, June 23, with the parade at the AccorHotels Arena dedicated to the SS2020, after a collaboration started in early 2011.
